Developmental Assets

The Developmental Assets are 40 positive experiences and personal qualities that children and youth need to grow up healthy, caring, and responsible. The more assets a child has, the more likely they are to do better in school and make healthier decisions. They are also less likely to engage in risk-taking behaviour, such as experimenting with drugs or alcohol, or early sexual activity.
