OKN seeks to provide Halton professionals with both the knowledge and resources to help children, youth and families. They need to help families access the right information, programs and services. They need access to data and knowledge in order make informed decisions about planning and implementing programs and service. The Data Portal and Halton iparent are two resources that OKN has researched and developed to help professionals in their work.

The information in the Data Portal can be used to help plan and design systems navigation solutions for children, youth and families.
Families seek help throughout the many developmental stages of their children’s lives, and OKN recognizes the challenges that they can face in trying to find and access the right programs, services and information at the right time. Halton iparent is one way to make it easier and simpler to find local programs and parent-focused information. Professionals and families alike can use Halton iparent to help "navigate the system".
